February 17th, 2018 ICA Þorrablót Award

On February 17th a member of the Mountain Börnum Park Fund board was requested to be present at the annual Icelandic Communities Association's Þorrablót at the Mountain Community Center. 

It was an evening of Icelandic traditions, good company, and lovely music! 

Much food was enjoyed, speeches were given, silent and live auctions were held, and the ICA generously distributed approximately $18,000 in cash awards to many local Icelandic affiliated organizations.

We are honored to have been chosen as one of those groups!
